Hey y'all. On Saturday during Full Body Awakening, Carrie wondered what the space below the tongue in the mouth is called. She thought aloud that maybe I would know, and I could not remember at the time. So I looked it up, and am reporting back that the bottom the mouth is called the "floor", made up of the soft tissues that weave into your bottom jaw, tongue, throat and neck. Bonus: below the floor there is a floating bone called the hyoid that anchors the tongue and is an important part of swallowing and moving the tongue. I had so much fun feeling this area of my body during our FBA practice this past weekend! ~Anna
