About the Event

Let's face it - we are a stressed out culture. What on earth do we do when the things that are supposed to decrease stress (like eating well and exercising) feel stressful to even think about undertaking?! 

Stress isn't necessarily bad. The word stress can be applied to any type of change that causes physical, emotional, or psychological pressure. In that regard, almost anything new will cause stress. Once you get through the initial learning curve of taking on new habits around nutrition, however, nutrition itself can actually be used for stress reflief.

In this workshop, we are going to discover how to use nurition + technology to reduce our everyday stress load rather than add more to the pile. You'll be led through a basic tour of My Fitness Pal and how to use it strategically, without the restrictive mindset of diet culture. 

At Comfy Fitness we truly believe living a healthy lifestyle does not have to be complex. We believe it only works if it honors your current life circumstances. We believe that true health emerges from within when living in right relationship with your body, not from a series of bandaid solutions.
